Description

There’s a reason this was the first single origin chocolate Amano ever released. Made with cacao from Madagascar’s Sambirano Valley, it has earned awards across the United States, Europe, and Asia, making it genuine award winning chocolate. The cacao for this single origin dark chocolate comes from a plantation on Madagascar’s northwest coast, where we work closely with the grower behind these remarkable beans.

We carefully roast, stone-grind, refine, and conch each batch of this artisan dark chocolate to bring out its natural character. Bright chocolate citrus notes mingle with balsamic vinegar, cherry, and raisin, giving the bar the lively profile that defines great citrus chocolate. Among our dark chocolate bars, Madagascar remains the one that started it all.
