Description

A friend first introduced me to these remarkable cacao beans from the Dominican Republic, convinced they belonged in a single origin chocolate unlike anything else. He was right. Dos Ríos doesn’t taste like conventional dark chocolate. Its natural notes of bergamot, orange, blueberry, and lavender give this single origin dark chocolate an unmistakable character shaped by the way the cacao undergoes fermentation.

Bringing those flavors forward required careful roasting and refining. The result is an artisan dark chocolate with a naturally bright dark chocolate orange profile rather than an added orange flavor. If you’re looking for single-origin chocolate with a character all its own, Dos Ríos stands apart among Amano’s dark chocolate bars.
